From the page: Plastic containers full of possibility
Idea 1
Drawer organization system
The idea of dividing interior spaces comes from the "cellas" — the organized compartments of Japanese cabinets, where every object has its exact place. The principle is simple: when everything has a visual address, the brain spends less energy searching, and the kitchen feels bigger. Containers of equal height create rhythm and harmony, even if they are from different brands.
What you need
- Clean, dry plastic containers, preferably without lids
- Labels or masking tape
- Permanent marker
How to make it
-
1
Sort the containers by height and remove the lids — without a lid, everything is visible from above.
-
2
Arrange the larger ones in the biggest drawer first, fitting the smaller ones into the leftover spaces, like a puzzle.
-
3
Write the contents on each label (cutlery, rubber bands, sachets, sticks) and stick it on the front of the container.
-
4
Set aside containers with lids for anything that could leak or give off odor, like open spice sachets.
Finishing touches
If you want a more uniform look, line the bottom of the containers with kraft paper or fabric — the neutral color unifies the whole set.
